Environmental Services Coordinator coordinates and maintains company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Inspects the work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Environmental Services Coordinator maintains and updates environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with and trains employees on all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Environmental Services Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Environmental Services Coordinator typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. This position will:
- Oversee 2nd and 3rd shift hospitality staff for housekeeping and food service
- Complete floor care projects on carpet cleaning and stripping, buffing and waxing floors
- Fulfill clerical duties as assigned for ordering and quality improvement initiatives
- Work primarily 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
- Work every other weekend and a holiday rotation.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of housekeeping experience
