Environmental Services Coordinator coordinates and maintains company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Inspects the work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Environmental Services Coordinator maintains and updates environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with and trains employees on all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Environmental Services Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Environmental Services Coordinator typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Primary Purpose
Load, unload, process and store hazardous and nonhazardous waste materials at a permitted waste treatment facility with supervision.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: 1 year of related experience and 24-40 hour HAZWOPER certificate preferred.
Knowledge and Abilities: This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function. Basic knowledge of EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations preferred. Ability to understand general industry practices. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirator. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
