POSITION SUMMARY
This position’s primary responsibility is to create efficient routes for designated operations, providing local operations management continuous foresight into upcoming services and participate in strategies for continued efficiencies and improvement. The Operations Planner is responsible for providing implementation and super-user support for Wind River’s Descartes Dispatching & Routing Program as well as supporting our Logistics Director with the program’s expansion. The position works with Drivers, Technicians, Branch Management, Customer Service, and Customers with routing and dispatch to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of service.
