Environmental Manager jobs in Pascagoula, MS
Environmental Manager oversees the analysis and evaluation of air, water, and land systems to determine if pollutants are present and directs the implementation of appropriate corrective action if necessary. Develops and plans policies and procedures related to air, water, and land systems in accordance with organization and government rules and regulations. Being an Environmental Manager evaluates operations and makes recommendations to reduce waste or pollution. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline. Additionally, Environmental Manager typically reports to head of a unit/department. The Environmental Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Environmental Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Full-Time Laborer (Construction/Landscaping) - Pascagoula, MS
Pay rate: $13.00 - $16.00

RESPONSIBILITIES (Training Provided)
- Install and remove Silt Fence on construction sites
- Install erosion control blankets, wattles, turbidity barriers, etc.
- Work with hand tools (sledge hammer, shovels, utility knives, staple guns, backpack blowers, etc.)
- Work in a safe, efficient, manner wearing proper protective equipment at all times while working
- Work to make sure client construction sites are clean and presentable
Requirements
- Construction or landscaping experience preferred
- Must be able to physically work outdoors in all types of weather
- Must be able to work weekends and extended hours as needed
Physical Requirements
Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday. (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions)
