Environmental Engineering Technician conducts analysis of soil, groundwater, or atmospheric samples to determine if pollutants are present and implements appropriate corrective action if necessary. Performs environmental compliance audits and risk assessments. Being an Environmental Engineering Technician requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be an Environmental Engineering Technician typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.     • These individuals will be working as the owner rep/project manager for these school projects.
    • They will be working in schools over the summer where no children will be present and performing Air sampling. They are the first people in the school sampling the air.
    • This individual will be responsible for all the documentation that is required by the general contractors.

    Must Haves:

    - 2,000 hours of work experience in a construction job - can come from demo, to safety, to carpentry

    OR

    - Bachelors degree in physical or Life Sciences, engineering or architecture and 500 hours of work

    OR

    - An individual going to school for on of the above programs that is seeking and internship.
