Ensures the organization's conformance to federal, state, and local environmental legislation. Additionally, Environmental Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Environmental Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Description
This position as an Air Quality Technician is one of full-time employment type. Employee will participate in Air Monitoring activities such as obtaining permits and conducting facility inspections. Employee will also perform fieldwork, specifically water and wastewater sampling for epidemiological studies relating to COVID-19, Influenza, and Monkeypox viruses. Assignments will be largely field based and will involve driving to various client sites. This position is considered on-call and the employee must be able to respond to calls and work overtime as needed.
