Summary: Safety Generalists perform office work on a daily basis essential to the operations of Melton Truck Lines. They are responsible for the training and counseling of drivers. Safety Generalists observe and report on the progress and performance of drivers daily. They evaluate drivers with problems or situations relating to collisions, load securement, CSA (Compliance Safety Accountability), and Department of Transportation FMCSA compliance. Contribute and assist in managing Safety Campaigns, and monitor and manage safety technology/programs like Geotab, Vigillo, AS400, Lytx, Drivewyze, Melton Mentors, Road Trainer Program, Safety Trainers, as required.

Qualification Requirements:
Education and/or Experience: high school diploma and some business training (at least 1 year) required. Bilingual ability in Spanish is beneficial. Minimum 3 years of flatbed truck driving experience required.
