Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Supervisor supervises engineers who develop, implement and maintain company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Involved in the design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the preparation, maintenance, and updating of environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for establishing and supervising the performance of preventive maintenance programs and personnel for improvement of production line performance along with scheduling and planning of line maintenance and cost reduction activities. You will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional groups (Production, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Accounting) in process, quality, and cost improvement projects and in the resolution of major issues.
This position is part of the Engineering team and will be located in Lodi, CA. The Supervisor will be supervising technicians whose shift starts at 1 pm. The salary range for this role is $100 - 120k annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay and shift differential.
