Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Supervisor supervises engineers who develop, implement and maintain company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Involved in the design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the preparation, maintenance, and updating of environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Seeking a full-time experienced Environmental Health and Safety Specialist with 5 years experience working in a manufacturing facility. Job duties will include providing technical support for the major safety programs such as Lockout Tagout, Machine Guarding, Electrical Safety, Personal Protective Equipment, Industrial Hygiene, etc.
MUST have a degree related to Occupational Environmental Health & Safety and 5 years of related EH&S and manufacturing experience.
You will report directly to the client.
