Designs and develops facilities, work areas and work procedures. Job description
The project Health and Safety Manager reports to the General Manager. This position manages the implementation of core H&S programs and activities for the project, which is comprised of 4 Wastewater Treatment Plants in Fulton County.
The Manager of H&S:
1) Trains, monitors and coaches workforce to improve skill levels for managing H&S
programs and initiatives and, 2) leads efforts at the projects for the development, implementation, and on- going assessment of policies, procedures, written work practices, and other program components related to the H&S program and client contract H&S requirements – thus enabling continuous improvement towards maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, safety and compliance on the assigned projects and across the company.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years’ experience with implementing Health & Safety programs
including conducting training.
Basic knowledge of municipal and/or industrial water and wastewater treatment plant
principles and practices is a plus.
