Role Description:
In the role of Manager - Data Engineering, you will be part of an ever growing team that contributes to the Core Values of Safety National. You will work closely with the Manager of Data Architecture and Engineering and his robust team. Your contributions of protecting the information assets of the company, including intellectual property personally identifiable information, and protected health information, against unauthorized alteration and/or disclosure by appropriately handling and transmitting information in accordance will be felt throughout Safety National.
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Data Engineering Manager will include servicing the needs of the organization through development, analysis, testing and release management of respective software products as well as the coordination and direction of the Business Intelligence and database areas within the IS Development Unit. You may also be assigned various projects like, supervising over the warehouse, data-marts, database architecture and database areas of the IS Development Unit.
The ideal candidate is someone who has proven leadership skills, someone who has had successful years in leading teams across the business and who has the technical skills to teach and mentor others in your related field. Some of the essentials skills required of you in this role are, having the technical experience with SQL server, Snowflake, Python and Power BI. Along with those skills, someone who has the experience with Engineering of Data Warehousing concepts and data in the cloud.
