Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Env., Health, and Safety Engineer serves as contact with all federal, state, and local regulatory bodies. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Summary
Environmental, Safety, and Health Manager inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment, and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) safety regulations and industry standards. The chief goal is to protect the employees, customers, contractors, and the environment. Manage, plan, implement and oversee the policies and procedures of SmartLam North America’s Safety Program. Educate employees on how to prevent health problems through the use of safety training programs. They also investigate accidents to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future.
