Enterprise Operations Supervisor jobs in Rhode Island

KLR is one of the fastest growing accounting firms in New England. We are seeking a Tax Supervisor to join our Enterprise Services Group team in our Providence, RI or Boston, MA offices on a flexible hybrid basis.

As a Supervisor on our Enterprise Solutions Group, you will utilize your educational background as well as your interpersonal, organizational and technical skills as you work with clients of the Firm. Our engagements are in many industries including: manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, retail, hospitality, healthcare, technology, life sciences and start-ups. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Act as the key client contact for assigned engagements.
• Perform reviews and compilation engagements for various industries.
• Prepare federal, and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Perform tax planning for clients for year-end, including tax provisions, projections, and extensions.
• Act as a resource for less experienced associates and team members.  Delegate work and supervise staff to meet deadlines as well as other metrics.
• Prepare bills and discuss fees with assigned clients.
• Establish good working relationships with all Partners, Managers and staff members.
• Assist with special projects and manage various tasks at hand

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Master’s degree, CPA/EA license or active pursuit of higher education or credentials is highly preferred
• 3 years of experience in public accounting, supervisory experience highly preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Possess a strong working knowledge of Profx Engagement; Microsoft Excel;  Microsoft Word; and QuickBooks
• Knowledge of BNA Tax, and Profx Fixed Assets preferred, but training is available
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet stated deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment and exercise sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential information.

We are looking for a candidate to work full time. Normal hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with increased hours during our peak season: January through April and August through October. These periods require increasing normal weekly hours, which may include weekends.
