Enterprise Operations Manager manages the daily activities of an enterprise IT operations unit and its equipment. Responsible for planning and achieving budgets, goals, and business objectives. Enterprise Systems Validation Section Manager

  • This role is responsible for leading managers and individual contributors responsible for Enterprise System Validation. This team is located in Boise, Korea, and India and partners with R&D to drive quality during development, engaging with multiple stakeholders for managing validation activities, and identifying process improvement and cost reduction opportunities. This person will work on a team responsible for building customer insights, requirements, and customer touchpoints as well as collaborate on validation of partner solutions.

    The role applies expert subject matter knowledge across businesses, functions or regions to lead complex technical space and drives change initiatives. The role is also responsible for people-care management, recruitment, and career development. The ideal candidate has knowledge of Enterprise Products & Solutions, a strong background in product validation, and an enthusiasm for solving complex problems and leading continual process improvements.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides direct and ongoing leadership for an organization of multiple subordinate managers and individual contributors coordinating, managing, and leading programs to drive validation and implementation of products and solution offerings.
    • Leads a complex technical space and establishes a solid program around it with defined goals, program charters and long-term strategies.
    • Applies expert subject matter knowledge across businesses, functions, or regions and drives change initiatives.
    • Drives and supports all phases of product development for multiple products across the organization.
    • Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects and programs, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps.
    • Engages with program managers, marketing, supply chain, technical leaders, quality, WS, and executives to communicate program status, escalate issues, and guide and influence strategic decision-making.
    • Coordinates with engineering and operations teams to determine timelines for the release of these features and bug fixes.
    • Manages relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers, including setting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedules, and costs; ensures that team members are effectively communicating and collaborating with outsourced resources.
    • Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities.
    • Provides overall people-care management for direct reports, including hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; drives and fosters organization-wide performance standards, expectations, and practices to support ongoing team member and process development.


    Education & Experience Recommended

    • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related discipline or commensurate work experience and demonstrated competence.
    • Typically has 10 years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably with direct experience in product/solution development and validation.
