$89,518.00/tr minimum - $134,277.00/yr maximum (range increases based on education, experience and certifications)

Responsibilities

Position SummaryResponsible for effective and efficient management of the infrastructure support section of ITS staffed by engineers.o Support areas include servers, Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity, networking, telecommunication systems and Epic technical support roles.This position reports to the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications.

Job RolesSafetyo Manages processes effectively in regard to employee safety.Record Keepingo Maintains all required records, reports, statistics, logs, files and other documents as required, including but not limited to payroll, schedules and status changes.Department Managemento Maintains 24 hour accountability for department, making independent decisions to implement strategies and programs.o Delegates authority and accountability to staff to ensure optimal outcomes and staff engagement.o Evaluates effectiveness of unit/department based programs and processes to ensure optimal outcomes.Process Improvemento Promotes a culture of process improvement by establishingimprovement goals.o Actively participates on system-wide or hospital-based teams.Staffingo Manages the unit/department effectively in regards to staffing and staff supervision.Role Specific Responsibilitieso Oversees primary IT Infrastructure Team support activities which consist of installation, troubleshooting, repair and system administration of components including servers, networking and telecommunicationsystems.o Works with staff to develop strategic plans for infrastructure components, which include operating systems, telecommunication systems hardware and integration of SIH information systems and networks.o Assists with development of annual IT budget and tracking of expenditures.o Monitors and assists staff compliance with departmental protocols and expectation for completion of daily work tasks, management and documentation of work activities and use of service management tools.o Collaborates with other ITS leaders to make sure systems and solutions are implemented in alignment with the needs and requirements of the department and SIH.o Accountable for Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity and a focus on High Availability for key Healthcare IT Services

Qualifications

EducationBS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering.

Licenses and CertificationRelevant technology, operations or leadership skills, certifications or verifiable competency.

Experience and SkillsTechnical Experience: 5 years Supervision Experience: 3 years
