Enterprise Infrastructure Manager manages and coordinates the information systems that will adequately support the organization's enterprise infrastructure. Monitors and manages all IT infrastructure projects to meet company and client needs. Being an Enterprise Infrastructure Manager determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs, ensuring the scalability of infrastructure design to handle expected growth. Implements policies and procedures to maintain, enhance, and secure an organization's technology infrastructure. Additionally, Enterprise Infrastructure Manager is responsible for monitoring the systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance. May assist in network interface planning, hardware resource availability, and the development of new applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Enterprise Infrastructure Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Enterprise Infrastructure Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. INFRASTRUCTURE ADMINISTRATOR

  • Job Summary:

    This position administrates all network, server, storage devices and systems. The position has administration responsibility over all servers, storage and network hardware, both test and production, as well as, all infrastructure-related software (operating systems, databases, utilities, etc.) including selection/recommendation, implementation and on-going operation. Work is performed under the general direction of the Infrastructure and Architecture Manager.

    The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet’s principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Create and manage compliance with IT technical and architectural standards and IT Policies and Procedures related to technology infrastructure.
    • Perform design, implementation and configuration management for all production and test infrastructure environments, including web and database servers, storage and networking across multiple sites.
    • Coordinate with and provide support to application programmers, users, administrators, and IT personnel for datacenter environment.
    • Create and maintain accurate, current system and network documentation.
    • Create and monitor target availability levels (e.g., 99%) for infrastructure
      hardware and software (server, storage, and network).
    • Manage system, storage, network and database metrics, tuning and monthly reporting.
    • Plan capacity requirements and recommend procurement requirements for growth and fault tolerance including business continuity and disaster recovery.
    • Team membership on projects - including the decommissioning process.
    • Perform release upgrades - including infrastructure aspects of application upgrades.
    • Design and maintain Active Directory.
    • Create and maintain Virtual Environment for data center.
    • Identify redundancy and DR requirements based on business needs.
    • Perform and test routine system backups and restores.
    • Perform preventive, scheduled and emergency infrastructure maintenance.
    • Provide technical support related to infrastructure and any contracted technical services for projects or service delivery.
    • Facilitate the resolution of all technical and non-technical IT design and implementation issues.
    • Applies all knowledge of 5S to his/her area and to the department.
    • Ensures all safety and environmental standards and procedures are being followed per OSHA, ISO 14001 and ISO 13485.
    • Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by supervisor.

    Qualification Requirements

    Educational/Training Requirement:

    • Bachelor’s degree or three to five years related experience and/or training.
    • IT Staff must be aware of and training on Cyber Security Standards.

    Experience:

    • List years of experience

    Licenses/Certifications:

    • Certification for MCSE and/or CCNA a definite plus.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Exhibits extensive knowledge of technical architecture, requirement definition, standard IT processes and operations.
    • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills.
    • Able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
    • Possesses excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Able to prioritize and multi-task assignments and projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Able to work independently with little or no supervision
    • Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience.
    • Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including; firewalls, Active Directory, VoIP, Microsoft Terminal Server, Citrix Presentation Server.
    • Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.
    • Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
    • Keen attention to detail.

    Physical Requirements:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee could be required to stand. The employee could frequently be required to walk; use hand to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The job requires dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components. The employee could be required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee could occasionally lift and or move up to 100 pounds such as computers and servers. Specific vision abilities required by the job could include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
