Enterprise Infrastructure Manager manages and coordinates the information systems that will adequately support the organization's enterprise infrastructure. Monitors and manages all IT infrastructure projects to meet company and client needs. Being an Enterprise Infrastructure Manager determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs, ensuring the scalability of infrastructure design to handle expected growth. Implements policies and procedures to maintain, enhance, and secure an organization's technology infrastructure. Additionally, Enterprise Infrastructure Manager is responsible for monitoring the systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance. May assist in network interface planning, hardware resource availability, and the development of new applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Enterprise Infrastructure Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Enterprise Infrastructure Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Infrastructure Engineering Inc. (IEI) is seeking a Project Manager - Design (Sign-on Bonus Eligible) to join our Detroit, MI Team!  We are a leading engineering firm known for quality and responsiveness and a proven track record of success as a Prime civil Engineering firm.  As the Project Manager, you will focus on diverse infrastructure and airport development projects.     What You'll Do
    • Manage the design phase, ensuring engineering consultants deliver per contractual agreements.
    • Review and validate engineering designs to comply with established standards and regulations.
    • Oversee the construction phase, tracking timelines, milestones, and budgets while preparing regular status reports for the client.
    • Draft, review, and validate change orders, managing risks and ensuring alignment among all involved parties.
    • Implement and oversee asset life cycle management strategies to ensure long-term operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
    • Conduct value engineering reviews to achieve an optimal balance between cost and quality.
    • Facilitate communication among various stakeholders, including airport authorities, construction teams, and third-party consultants.
    • Host regular project progress meetings to provide clear status updates and proactively identify potential issues that could affect project deliverables.
     
     
    To Be Successful
    • B.S. in Civil Engineering.
    • Active Professional Engineer (PE) License.
    • 15 years of hands-on Design work in construction or infrastructure projects, preferably focusing on airport or other infrastructure projects.
    • Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation and other drafting programs.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills substantiated by a track record of successful project delivery.
    • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
