Enterprise Infrastructure Director manages and coordinates the information systems that will adequately support the organization's enterprise infrastructure. Monitors and manages all IT infrastructure projects to meet company and client needs. Being an Enterprise Infrastructure Director determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs, ensuring the scalability of infrastructure design to handle expected growth. Implements policies and procedures to maintain, enhance, and secure an organization's technology infrastructure. Additionally, Enterprise Infrastructure Director is responsible for monitoring the systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance. May assist in network interface planning, hardware resource availability, and the development of new applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Enterprise Infrastructure Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Enterprise Infrastructure Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. The IT Architect V is responsible for designing the structure of specific IT systems and supervising programs to ensure the architecture is properly implemented. A Day in the Life The IT Architect V – Enterprise Architect Infrastructure role is pivotal in shaping the future of enterprise connectivity. This position involves close collaboration with experts in Networking, Telecommunication, Security, Infrastructure, and Cloud to develop and maintain sophisticated architectures. The role focuses on redefining current architectures to meet future needs, incorporating elements like Hybrid work, mobile apps, SaaS, and hybrid cloud-edge computing, all while addressing growing cybersecurity challenges. The goal is to create a more integrated approach across networking, security, and cloud technologies. Key responsibilities include researching new technologies, integrating existing ones, understanding security implications, aligning with IT governance, and providing thought leadership. The successful candidate will be part of the Enterprise Architecture team, working alongside senior technical architects and management to ensure secure, optimal, and effective access to applications and resources for users, regardless of their location. This role is ideal for those looking to advance their career by playing a crucial role in cross-domain, ground-breaking IT efforts. Responsibilities/Expectations: Provides technical governance, facilitating the creation and modification of technical standards, models, and reference architectures Offers technical consulting, roadmap development, and solution design facilitation Develops current and target state connectivity/networking architecture blueprints, including transition roadmaps and architectural sequencing Collaborates on crafting a long-term transition to a zero trust model using Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and micro-segmentation in a hybrid computing model Designs an edge-to-cloud architecture for efficient, low-latency, real-time data and alarm collection from numerous field offices and remote IIOT devices across extensive pipeline networks Researches improvements in network connectivity, focusing on optimizing network resiliency, bandwidth, pathways, and mobile coverage, especially in remote areas Crafts an integrated operational monitoring and management system, offering a unified view across network and security domains, incorporating AI-driven root cause analysis, sophisticated alarm correlation, SLA metrics, and automation Acts as a trusted advisor to IT and business leadership, providing expert guidance and strategic insights Other duties as assigned Education/Years of Experience: Required: Bachelor’s degree in IT related field; a minimum ten (10) years’ developing software systems and IT experience Preferred: Minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience and prior oil/gas industry experience Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements: Less than 20% travel required, including the possibility for some international travel Other Requirements: Broad knowledge of the IT industry, encompassing technology components, concepts, models/frameworks, standards, and major industry trends Understanding of networking and security concepts, including Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Security Service Edge (SSE), and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) Familiarity with cloud architecture and concepts such as Firewall-as-a-Service, Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Infrastructure-as-Code, and DevOps; Azure experience is beneficial Insight into information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, and familiarity with agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA frameworks Awareness of existing, new, and emerging technologies in the IT field Effective leadership skills, complemented by exceptional soft and social skills, including partnership, facilitation, and negotiation Strong consulting skills, including targeted communications, engagement management, customer management, and business development capabilities Demonstrates outstanding organizational and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on safety as the utmost priority Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications About Tulsa: Our corporate headquarters is located in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, the 2nd largest city in Oklahoma and the 47th most populous in the U.S. Tulsa is known as the Mother of "The Mother Road" - Route 66, and boasts impressive art deco architecture, the #1 city park in the U.S. (The Gathering Place) and is a great venue for live music.
