Being an Enterprise Infrastructure Director determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs, ensuring the scalability of infrastructure design to handle expected growth. Implements policies and procedures to maintain, enhance, and secure an organization's technology infrastructure. Additionally, Enterprise Infrastructure Director is responsible for monitoring the systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance. May assist in network interface planning, hardware resource availability, and the development of new applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Enterprise Infrastructure Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. The Enterprise Infrastructure Architect is responsible for ensuring that the overall infrastructure technology architecture supports the enterprise needs and requirements with the appropriate considerations for resiliency and security. The primary role of the Enterprise Infrastructure Architect is to ensure that the infrastructure technology investments are aligned with the organization's technology and standards, policies, and governance strategies. This role also serves as a subject matter expert holistically for Enterprise Infrastructure. In this role, you will: Provide strategic technology direction and leadership to the business, oversight of technology projects, and leadership in the planning and implementation of the technology base Guide company decision-making relative to the use of appropriate technologies, execution roadmaps, and timing to exit existing technologies Cultivate a culture of standards awareness and continuous education of personnel to ensure infrastructure policies, standards, and guidelines are always followed Develop Public and Private Cloud Infrastructure Architecture guidelines and standards focused on infrastructure and security best practice in a centralized management model Develop implementation roadmaps for target state that is aligned with business requirements and minimizes disruptions Gather infrastructure requirements, provide technical guidance, and foster a collective understanding of data flows, security, and infrastructure issues encountered in infrastructure applications and services. Align with various application, data, security, and infrastructure teams to determine high level plans for infrastructure solutions while assessing the impact against infrastructure standards Work closely with delivery and operational teams on implementing Clorox infrastructure standards within the application development and operations lifecycle Assist with designing the governance activities associated with ensuring enterprise infrastructure architecture compliance Provide consult on projects where technology standards do not exist yet or where the effort is not meeting business requirements Assess vendors, applications, and or services by working with key stakeholders to determine criteria that aligns with the business need What we look for: 5 plus years as an Infrastructure Architect and/or Systems Engineer; With an additional 2 plus years in designing cloud frameworks or implementing cloud infrastructure 5 plus years of experience in large scale enterprise public and private cloud projects from ideation to finished production product 3 plus years of experience doing application and/or infrastructure solution architecture 2 plus years of experience building cloud architecture within all Cloud Service Providers or equivalent products and services Ability to balance the long-term strategic objectives and the short-term tactical imperatives Experience in applying enterprise technology frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman Familiarity to the Zero Trust Architecture framework, NIST framework and experience applying the framework to infrastructure technology Demonstrate experience and knowledge involving the development of multi-tier and cross-platform architecture plans to include enterprise workflows, and distributed architecture Demonstrate understanding of Infrastructure as Code, Automation, and Orchestration within all Cloud Service Providers Demonstrate experience in deploying web and service-based applications in Windows/Linux environments A background in IT infrastructure such as datacenter compute, storage, networking, hyperconverged technologies, backups, monitoring, server OS, database.
