Enterprise Infrastructure Director manages and coordinates the information systems that will adequately support the organization's enterprise infrastructure. Monitors and manages all IT infrastructure projects to meet company and client needs. Being an Enterprise Infrastructure Director determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs, ensuring the scalability of infrastructure design to handle expected growth. Implements policies and procedures to maintain, enhance, and secure an organization's technology infrastructure. Additionally, Enterprise Infrastructure Director is responsible for monitoring the systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance. May assist in network interface planning, hardware resource availability, and the development of new applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Enterprise Infrastructure Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Enterprise Infrastructure Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • Under the direction of the Director of IT, the Enterprise Infrastructure Manager provides technology leadership and strategic direction to the Systems and Network operations team with the IT department. The Manager has overall responsibility for architecture, support, maintenance, and security. Additionally, the Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing technical development being executed by both internal and vendor led teams – while working collaboratively with business units delivering technical solutions that meet goals and objectives. The Manager will be one of the primary points of contact for internal business and vendor partners.

     Essential Functions:

    • Provide leadership and manage the work activities of direct reports.
    • Accountable for availability and performance of Network and Systems portfolio, including ownership of incidents and support.
    • Drives stakeholder satisfaction by delivering outstanding/reliable uptime and quality support with controlled and planned change management.
    • Works effectively and collaboratively with other IT Managers on strategic initiatives in order to support the growth of the organization.
    • Partner with leaders of other disciplines to ensure proposed solutions align with overall technology strategy.
    • Provides outstanding customer service and is an escalation path for end users.
    • Assists in budget preparation, budget monitoring and meeting budget targets.
    • Proven experience in managing relationships with vendors/consultants, IT teams and internal stakeholders.
    • A passion for all things tech and a drive to experiment with new technologies to see where they can benefit the business.
    Qualifications (skills, knowledge, experience)
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent job experience.
    • 10 years’ experience of managing Network and Systems operations.
    • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
    • Comprehensive knowledge of IT best practices and processes
    • Strong experience with Cisco network hardware
    • Strong experience with VMWare and Windows Server OS
    • Must have valid driver’s license, adequate insurance, and acceptable driving record.
