The Team:
The Unison team seeks a Managing Director who is an experienced sales leader to materially increase the pace of our investment. Reporting to the Global Managing Director of Origination, the MD will lead a new sales team parallel to our current team. Our goal is to double the size of our business.
The Job:
· First - Learn our business. We expect our Managing Directors to have functional industry proficiency within 90 days.
· Second – Personal production metrics which meet or exceed company standards.
· Third- Recruit, train and develop a team of 5 Originators – then grow to 10 and so on.
· Finally - Scale this new team using our existing support functions – data, CRM, lead generation, legal and portfolio management.
Required Education and Experience:
· 8 years of progressive B2C origination and closing experience.
· Demonstrated experience building and leading an effective origination team.
· Useful background.
- Familiarity with finance concepts such as IRR and NPV.
- Familiarity with real estate origination and closing.
· Related industries: commercial real estate, mortgages, telecom, mineral rights acquisition, or renewables industries.
· Bachelor's degree required.
