JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION
Minimum:  High School diploma or equivalent required.  Analytical aptitude, customer service skills, basic computer knowledge experience required.

EXPERIENCE
Preferred:  Familiarity/experience with healthcare insurance billing procedures and billing regulations.

SUMMARY
Rare opportunity to join Schneck's Patient Financial Services team as a Billing Representative. This position has the ability to work a hybrid schedule, and the flexibility to work either 4 days/week (10-hr shifts) or 5 days/week (8-hr shifts).

In this position, you will work with a team of Billing Representatives as we seek to obtain reimbursement for the services we provide to our community. You will work with a variety of parties on a daily basis, from insurance companies, to patients, to peers within the Schneck organization.

Job responsibilities include:
-Filing health insurance claims to multiple payers accurately and within timely filing limits
-Following up on outstanding AR within assigned split within timely filing limits
-Working to resolve credit balances within assigned split
-Assisting patients with questions about their insurance claims and outstanding balances
-Providing excellent customer experiences, demonstrate commitment to co-workers through positive teamwork interactions, and engage in educational activities
