Baker University seeks qualified applicants to fill a Director of Enrollment Management position for the School of Professional and Graduate Studies (SPGS) at Baker University’s Overland Park Campus. The Assistant Director of Enrollment Management is an essential member of the enrollment management team for online and graduate programs, which involves supporting prospective students and programs for the Graduate School of Education, the School of Nursing, and the School of Professional and Graduate Studies. This position is responsible for overseeing the management of applicant materials, including working with the CRM and application system to ensure a seamless experience for all applicants. The Assistant Director of Enrollment Management serves as a leader within the enrollment management team, supporting recruiters and other enrollment management team members through training, professional development, and performance management. Organic lead generation is also supported by this position, which is responsible for managing recruiting events and maintaining reports on recruiting performance.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred; Minimum of 2 years of experience in higher education or another field related to the position; Proficiency with Microsoft Office required; proficiency with CRM and/or SIS applications preferred. This position requires strong technical skills and the ability to work with enrollment technology to meet the needs of prospective students; Desire to meet goals and guide students through the enrollment funnel; Must be able to share information on academic programs ethically and accurately with stakeholders; Ability to work well with others in a high-pressure environment; Ability to effectively manage people and oversee processes; Ability to take initiative and manage multiple individual and team projects; Ability to cultivate and sustain relationships with diverse audiences and create a culture of belonging; Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills; Experience with non-traditional/adult students; Attentiveness to detail; Ability to travel to recruiting events as needed; And willingness to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of prospective students
