Buena Vista University is seeking an Assistant Director of Enrollment for Online Programs. This position will provide leadership for the recruitment of undergraduate Online Program students, working collaboratively under the supervision of the Director of Enrollment & Student Success. This position will manage the enrollment counselors and facilitate the student recruitment plan, event planning and outreach, communication strategies, and develop and implement strategies that lead to the growth of BVU’s Online Programs. This person will be responsible for the training and development of the enrollment staff to ensure prospective students are provided with pertinent information about BVU undergraduate degrees, career paths, admissions and financial aid processes, program benefits, and costs. Data management and the ability to analyze reports and enrollment trends is an important component of this position. This person will be a member of the Online Programs leadership team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. Two years experience in higher education. One year specifically working in adult higher education admissions is preferred.
The position requires a high degree of enthusiasm, professionalism, collaboration, and values providing excellent service to all stakeholders. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to establish and achieve priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position is expected to have occasional travel to BVU Offices and events. The home office can be at one of BVU’s Office locations on our community college partner’s campuses or on the Storm Lake campus.
