  • POSITION SUMMARY:

    This role will develop, implement, and manage quality control systems and team designed to ensure continuous production of industry-leading, high-quality products consistent with established standards, customer specifications, and production goals. This role with also establish and maintain processes and procedures necessary to monitor and react to the quality of incoming raw materials, production processes, and performance of products in the field.

    This role will also develop, implement, and manage regulatory compliance for local, state, federal, and international laws and regulations relevant to our operations including but not limited to REACH, SCIP, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, Prop 65, and UL.

    This role also oversees the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) of the organization as well as Technical Services department.


    RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

    • Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to ensure the Company’s Quality Systems and Policies are in compliance with quality system requirements
    • Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain regulatory compliance plan to assure the Company is following state, federal, and international laws and regulations
    • Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain a technical services plan to assure customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers
    • Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain the EHS plan to promote a safe work practices and conditions that comply with EHS policies and regulations including OSHA
    • Responsible for interviews, selection, onboarding, time approval, time off calendar management, performance reviews, and addressing performance concerns of quality and technical services teams
    • Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to overseen area
    • Effectively communicate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products
    • Work with Supply Chain to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
    • Ensure Company compliance with national and international standards and legislation
    • Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
    • Liaise with customers’ auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers’ specifications
    • Monitor performance by gathering relevant data, producing statistical reports, and conducting audits
    • Identify and deliver relevant training
    • Ensure tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out, and evaluated; investigate product modifications if necessary
    • Write technical and management systems reports
    • Maintaining awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues.
    • Assessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers and comparing with customer requirements
    • Regularly attends and participates in meetings as applicable, to include daily supervisors’ meeting and others as requested
    • Other duties as assigned including training others on known processes


    HOURS:

    This is a full-time 40 hour per week role working four ten-hour days Monday – Thursday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm. Occasionally longer hours may be required.


    REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum of 5 years in related experience including at least 1 year in regulatory compliance
    • Proficiency in reading and writing in English

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment, may work near moving equipment, and exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.
