Engineering Aide jobs in Fresno, CA

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain Bills Of Materials in an ERP/MRP System
• Make drawing revisions and process engineering change notices.
• Assist in ongoing projects to standardize and unify design document standards by participating in meetings and preparing presentation materials as necessary
• Use Solid-Works to develop 2D drawings of design specifications for mechanical equipment and components.
• Analyze design documents and plans to verify dimensions and materials and coordinate with engineers to resolve any errors
• Collaborate with engineers and production technicians as necessary to identify design problems and develop effective solutions
• Provide support to the engineering team as needed by creating assembly and technical drawings

Skills and Qualifications:

• Associate degree in drafting or engineering
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience maintaining Bills Of Material in an ERP/MRP System
• Proficient with Solid-Works
• Excellent technical communication skills with engineers and manufacturing personnel
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work within strict deadlines
• Solid understanding of electrical and hydraulic circuits
• Accurate, organized and able to work with minimal supervision
• Capable of making schematics and models of individual components as well as complete machine assembly drawings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
