May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Energy Representative, Sr. typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be an Energy Representative, Sr. typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Midstate Electric Cooperative, Inc. located in La Pine, Oregon is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Energy Efficiency Coordinator.
Qualified applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent with an associate degree or minimum of three (3) years prior utility experience. Applicant is proficient with spreadsheet analysis and working knowledge of a personal computer and possess a detailed knowledge of the electric utility industry and its issues (local, regional, and national). Has the ability to work under high demand situations, be goal-oriented, a team player, be personable, well-organized, and self-motivated. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively and compatibly with various audiences including building owners, maintenance staff, customers, developers, builders, architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and co-workers. Must also have a working knowledge of energy conservation and green building practices, including familiarity with energy efficiency cost effectiveness methodology. Must have the ability to prepare reports by utilizing data collected from engineering reports, energy use monitoring, testing, and schedules of equipment operation.
Valid Oregon driver's license is required and must live within a 45-minute driving radius of Midstate's headquarters. This is a Salary/Exempt position.
