Being an Energy Representative develops and distributes educational material; evaluates and recommends alternatives to existing systems or processes. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Energy Representative typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be an Energy Representative typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. HIring for the position of Energy Analyst for Home Energy Solutions. This would entail modeling new construction homes in a software program to ensure compliance with energy codes. Must need to know how to read and interpret blue prints, be efficient in building science, and be computer savvy. Experience with Remrate, rescheck, HERS Rating, or BPI will be a plus.
