    As an Energy Efficiency Representative, you will:

    • Maintain signatory responsibility for the Energy Conservation Agreement (ECA) with delegated authority up to $25 million.
    • Form effective collaborative working relationships with and serve as the primary liaison for an assigned group of BPA's customers with the goal of facilitating interaction and success with BPA's efficiency programs.
    • Deliver in-process support and problem solving for customers regarding EE programs and reporting systems or requirements, respond to questions, troubleshoot problems, identify solutions, and clarify policy, programs and regulations.
    • Take a leading role in cross-organizational efforts to achieve consensus and compromise to ensure problems, inconsistencies or lack of clarity in BPA policy and programs are addressed in a way that accounts for internal stakeholder needs, ensuring BPA's statutory obligations are met, while providing a clear and actionable path for customers.
    • Hold regular customer account team meetings with cross functional staff that regularly interact with a specific customer or customers to ensure a coordinated approach to each customer's needs and a full understanding of the strategic approach to each customer.
    • Actively participate in the development and implementation of new energy efficiency initiatives and modifications to program designs to ensure customer/partner interests are balanced with BPA programmatic objectives.

    Qualifications

    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
    A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the Federal service.

    Specialized Experience for this position is defined as: 1) Administering and implementing a portfolio of utility program products and services; 2) Consulting with staff and customers in the design, implementation, or evaluation of new approaches to reduce consumption and demand; and 3) Collaborating with staff and customers in the development of strategies to facilitate the adoption of utility technologies or best practices.

    "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

    How You Will Be Evaluated

    You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
