POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILTIES:
The Permitting Supervisor would support plugging operations and to be located in Charleston, WV or Bridgeport, WV.
Special focus to be placed on:
- Effectively lead a team of permitting specialists ensuring all permits are in place prior to scheduled plugging operations.
- Ensures all work complies with DEC standards and applicable Federal/State and environmental regulations.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication with landowners, royalties owners, and state agency representatives.
- Communicate permitting updates to relevant internal departments and external customers.
- Establishes an inventory of wells in advance of planned plugging operations.
- Provide reporting and work with the Operations team to generate reports and status/tracking updates.
- Assists in forecasting and budgeting. Communicates budget reporting.
- Operate with a safety-focused mindset.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- An associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Prefer 5 years of relevant experience.
- In possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, a self-motivated personality, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and mentor others to complete multiple projects efficiently and effectively.
