Job Summary
GM Freight is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Supervisor to join our team. The Dispatch Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the transportation management and logistics operations, ensuring efficient delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent phone etiquette, and experience in transportation management.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule transportation activities, including shipping and receiving
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
- Utilize transportation management systems to optimize routing and minimize costs
- Supervise a team of dispatchers and provide guidance and support as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in transportation management or dispatching role
- Proficient in data entry and analysis
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
