Our customers are requiring proactive insights to utility, energy, water, and emissions data. This role requires someone who can utilize multiple dashboard/software systems to support energy benchmarking efforts. This role would also entail project supervision on renewable energy and on site generation projects such as solar PV, fuel cells, battery storage, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in energy, environment, sustainability, management, statistics, business, computer science, engineering, finance, or related field
Duties include:
- Full utilization of company software systems to track, manage, organize, verify, and analyze utility, energy, water, and emissions data
- Experience with EnergyCAP or other energy benchmarking software is a plus, but not required
- Basic understanding of utilities (electric, natural gas, water)
- Basic understanding of emissions, Scope 1 and 2
- Ability to track and manage large groups of accounts across states
- Work with utilities and suppliers to access necessary data
- Onboarding of new customers and maintenance of existing customer data
- Data input
- Analyze data and provide insight on trends, anomalies, areas for improvement, etc.
- Support the team with data requests as needed
- Manage compliance for all state and local benchmarking mandates
- Oversee and manage renewable energy and on site generation projects
- Work with technology vendors, EPC’s, and customer
- Project development
- Analysis of inputs, assumptions, and economics
- Basic contract review
- Attendance of kick off meetings and key meetings
- Site travel as needed
- Oversight on progress, timelines, issues, etc.
