Successful candidates will provide quality nursing care in all areas of the Center including pre-assessment, procedure room and recovery room. Must be a team-player with excellent assessment skills. Registered Nurse will be responsible for admitting patients, working with Procedural Doctors & endoscopy technicians during procedure, or providing post-anesthesia recovery patient care, depending upon daily assignment. In addition, the registered nurse is assigned to additional tasks such as checking and maintaining emergency equipment and completing post procedure phone calls. Patient education is involved in all aspects of nursing care provided at this facility.
Qualifications:
Current, active New Jersey RN license
Previous experience in an admitting, procedure or recovery role in an ambulatory setting, preferably in a GI setting.
Must be BCLS certified.
Must be ACLS certified.
Pre-employment physical with additional testing as required to meet all applicable standards.
