Responsibilities:
- Assist with document management systems, including filing and organizing legal documents
- Assisting attorneys with drafting legal documents related to Family Law matters.
- Managing administrative tasks.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and court hearings
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including drafting correspondence and preparing legal documents
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and coordinating with witnesses
- Corresponding with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals via phone, email, and mail.
Experience:
- - Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
- - Proficiency in data entry and document management systems, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word and Windows OS and Google suite.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Paralegal is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills with strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
