    Bluestone Law is currently seeking a highly motivated Labor and Employment Attorney to join our team. In this position, you will advocate for employees by representing individuals facing workplace injustices. You will take the lead in managing a caseload, from intake to resolution, including both single plaintiff and class action suits. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our firm's standards of excellence and client-focused service.

    Responsibilities:

    • Independently manage a litigation caseload, including single plaintiff and class action cases, from beginning to end.
    • Prepare and review legal documents, such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, motions, and agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
    • Provide legal advice and counseling on employment law matters to clients.
    • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and mediations, championing clients interests.
    • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on case developments, and offer guidance on legal strategies and options.
    • Collaborate with colleagues within the firm to share knowledge, insights, and resources, contributing to the overall success of the team and firm.
    • Stay informed about changes in employment law and legal procedures to ensure up-to-date representation and advice.

    Job Requirements:

    • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
    • California State Bar License
    • 2 years or more of experience at a law firm with a focus on employment law.
    • Knowledge of Federal and State labor and employment laws (preferred).
    • Native Spanish (preferred)
    • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Organized and detail-oriented.
    • Proficiency in legal case management software and tools, preferably Lawcus.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

    Schedule:

    • 8 hour shift

    Supplemental pay types:

    • Bonus opportunities
    • Commission pay

    Ability to Relocate:

    • Canoga Park, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
