    Keenan has an exciting career opportunity for an Employee Benefits System Adminstrator. The Employee Benefits System Administrator provides support to Benefits Systems Managers, Service team, and clients for AP Keenan’s benefits eligibility management systems. They act as the primary liaison between the Benefits Systems Managers, Service team and other internal departments coordinating aspects relating to renewals and implementation.

     

    Keenan, an Accretive company, is an insurance brokerage and consulting firm meeting the insurance needs of hospitals, public entities and California school districts. Keenan specializes in providing consulting services in the areas of: employee benefits, workers' compensation, loss control, financial, and property & liability.

    What You'll Do

    • Prepare and distribute renewal checklists to the Service team.
    • Follow-up with the Service team for information required for renewals and implementations.
    • Conduct system set-up and data audits of case documentation to ensure standards are being followed.
    • Assist with updating requirements documentation with renewal information.
    • Set-up and/or update benefits eligibility systems.
    • Provide administrative assistance to the Benefits Systems Managers to include correspondence, project coordination and completion, proofing, scanning, data archiving, and annual enrollment metrics. 
    • Assist with preparation/review of project meeting agendas and minutes.
    • Schedule and facilitate internal project meetings when required.
    • Work with the Vice President of Client Services and the Benefits Systems Managers to increase team effectiveness and productivity.
    • Track outstanding action items concerning renewals and implementations to minimize risk and improve overall client experience.
    • Effectively collaborates with customers, extended staff, colleagues and vendors on project issues and related project tasks.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    What You'll Need

    • Two (2) years of experience in project administration (e.g.,  coordinating meetings, taking minutes, assisting with task management, and preparing reports).
    • Two (2) years of experience in benefit administration systems.
    • Strong project/task management, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
    • Ability to quickly learn and grasp new technology.
    • Must be able to work independently, work on multiple projects concurrently and perform multiple tasks. 
    • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.  Adept at accessing business data from the Internet when required.

    Compensation:

     

    The target salary range for this position is $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
