    The Senior Director of Human Resources Business Partners and Employee Relations will develop and lead initiatives around Human Resources to maximize enablement of the business strategy focusing on building strategic capabilities and plans aligned to business and operational initiatives. The Senior Director, HR Business Partners & Employee Relations will work collaboratively with the Human Resources centers of expertise to develop and deliver effective talent programs, policies, and practices that drive business results and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.The Senior Director, HR Business Partners & Employee Relations will work closely with departmental leaders, cultivate relationships, and drive talent management, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement and retention initiatives.

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
    • A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least five (5) years in a leadership capacity.
    • Experience in a healthcare setting and with multiple business units is preferred.

    • Must have a valid California Driver's License.
    • Human Resources Laws and Regulations: A deep understanding of employment laws and Human Resources regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
    • Business Acumen: Knowledge of the organization's industry, operations, and strategic goals to align Human Resources initiatives with business objectives.
    • Risk Management: The ability to assess and mitigate Human Resources-related risks for the organization.
    • Talent Management: Proficiency in talent development and retention strategies to build a skilled and engaged workforce.
    • Employee Relations: Skills in managing employee relations, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
    • Change Management: Expertise in guiding organizational change, including restructuring and process enhancements.
    • Performance Management: Knowledge of performance appraisal systems and strategies to drive employee growth and development.
    • Conflict Resolution: Skills in mediating and resolving workplace conflicts professionally and constructively.
    • Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically and contribute Human Resources insights to the organization's overall strategy.
    • Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and reporting.
