Employee Performance Specialist develops, implements, and administers programs that evaluate, measure, and improve employee performance. Conducts assessment activities to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Employee Performance Specialist designs performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Identifies the types of training and development and resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Employee Performance Specialist encourages a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Employee Performance Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     The Employee Relations Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. Provides employment related guidance and support to management and employees. Prevent and resolve problems while assisting in creating and enforcing policies in the workplace.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for new hire onboarding and orientation.
    • Proven experience with employee relations compliance/policies.
    • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
    • Involved with employee investigation and resolutions.
    • Reviews employee documentation regarding progressive discipline and recommends corrective action.
    • Assists with processing of offboarding.
    • Maintains employee personnel files.
    • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Maintain high level of confidentiality.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
    • At least two years related experience required.
    • SHRM-CP credential preferred.
