WHAT WILL YOU DO?
We are looking for someone who is excited to facilitate bi-weekly new hire orientation and customer service training as well as other monthly classes. As the facilitator, you will work with department leaders to tailor classes for their team in order to deliver a customized and relevant training. You will also create related handouts, job aids, and training evaluations to help assess the success of the session and learning transfer.
In addition to customizing and delivering training, you will have the opportunity to own projects that resonate most with your strengths and areas you’d like to gain more experience in. These include LMS implementation and administration, technical writing/creation of “how to” guides, new hire training analysis and program design including position-specific training materials, job aids, decks, assessments, manuals, and tips for department trainers. We will encourage you to get creative by developing marketing materials to encourage participation in classes and think of fun and interesting ways to spread our company culture and reinforce the behaviors that bring our values to life. With so many exciting projects and initiatives, now is the time to join our department!

Requirements
EXPERIENCE & SKILL CHECK – DO YOU HAVE…
Training experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
Proven understanding of adult learning principles, ability to complete needs assessment, content development, coordination of logistics, facilitation, evaluation, and record keeping.
Advanced/Expert working knowledge of MS PowerPoint.
Demonstrated creativity and ability to design aesthetically engaging and effective materials
Advanced organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
Strong written and verbal communication skills; proven public speaking and training delivery.
Results driven and able to achieve objectives.
Strong quality orientation and attention to detail.
PLUSES:
Degrees/Certifications in Instructional Design, IO Psychology, Communication, or Related Fields
Technical writing/training experience
Experience creating new hire training manuals, policies and procedure documents
Experience with multimedia content creation
