Employee Performance Specialist develops, implements, and administers programs that evaluate, measure, and improve employee performance. Conducts assessment activities to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Performance Construction & Utility Specialist

  • Gensco currently has an amazing opportunity available to join our Team as a Performance Construction & Utility Specialist supporting our 5 state trading area (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska)!

    Full Time - starting pay range $115,000-$170,000 annually based on education and experience

    Summary

    • Expand Gensco's reach and market presence by recruiting new builders and driving high-efficiency equipment sales in the new construction market.
    • Develop strong working relationships with contractors and builders, providing training on code changes and applications, and collaborating with utilities to implement mid-stream utility programs.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Customer Service
      • Responds promptly to all customer inquiries and ensures all customer commitments are followed through within 24 hours.
      • Assists in resolving any customer opportunities, disputes, warranties, and product failures promptly.
    2. Sales
      • Facilitates the recruitment of new Builders to partner with Trane, AMS, Ameristar, and Mitsubishi dealers.
      • Provides training to dealers to enhance Residential New Construction (RNC/High Performance Construction) opportunities with Gensco provided solutions.
      • Assists in achieving RNC sales goals.
      • Supports the growth of Variable Speed Products, Heat Recovery Ventilators (HRVs), Water Heating, and Supplies for new construction sales.
    3. Training Classes
      • Assists in creating training programs on code developments and changes.
      • Conducts/Leads training sessions for the Gensco Sales Team and contractors.
      • Follows up with dealers to ensure implementation of best practices.
    4. Utility Engagement
      • Assist Sales Team and Leadership in development and execution of Utility incentive programs to drive business.
      • Help create and maintain QPL’s (Qualified Product Lists) for Utility Programs.
      • Work directly with Utilities to drive “mid-stream” programs.
    Education/Experience/Skills
    • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Preferred college degree in a relevant field.
    • Minimum of five years of experience in the HVAC industry.
    • Strong knowledge of HVAC products and industry trends.
    • Excellent customer service skills with a sense of urgency in responding to requests.
    • Proactive and self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective communication and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office products.
    • Ability to travel as required.
