Employee Health Services Manager is responsible for managing the employee health service functions of the organization. Administers healthcare program operations and supervises subordinate staff. Being an Employee Health Services Manager ensures that all medical records are kept in a manner compliant with appropriate policies and procedures. May be responsible for administering employee physicals, injury related diagnoses, or other types of referrals according to OSHA regulations. Additionally, Employee Health Services Manager may provide consultation regarding workers' compensation, infection control or other employee health related issues. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. Typically requires a registered nurse. The Employee Health Services Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Position Summary:
Provides practical nursing care to team members in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and PNHS policy. Under EOHS RN supervision provides disability case management, general nursing care and health screening to team members. Assists EOHS in various health service programs all under EOHS RN supervision; coordinate pre-employment and annual health screening; administration of medications per protocol, including but not limited to, immunizations, immunoglobulin and over the counter medications; first aid treatment; coordination and consultation in determination of team member's ability to return to work or continue work and performs evaluation of medical leaves of absence.
Ensure delivery of occupational health and safety services to all Park Nicollet Health Services team members and facilitate services in accordance with department's mission and goals maintaining compliance with community and regulatory standards or laws.
On a rotating basis, this individual will provide Frontline coverage for EOHS. This includes, but is not limited to, answering incoming telephone calls, greeting all who come into the EOHS office, scheduling appointments, and support department clerical duties.
