Employee Health Services Manager is responsible for managing the employee health service functions of the organization. Administers healthcare program operations and supervises subordinate staff. Being an Employee Health Services Manager ensures that all medical records are kept in a manner compliant with appropriate policies and procedures. May be responsible for administering employee physicals, injury related diagnoses, or other types of referrals according to OSHA regulations. Additionally, Employee Health Services Manager may provide consultation regarding workers' compensation, infection control or other employee health related issues. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. Typically requires a registered nurse. The Employee Health Services Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Summary of Job Duties:The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a specifically trained Student & Employee Health care team member. The LPN supports the ongoing care delivery and is an integral team member in caring for patients and families. The LPN works under the direct supervision of the Clinical Services Manager (CSM) and indirectly under the direction of the RN. The LPN is responsible for implementing treatment plans, providing patient education, and administering medication. The LPN is also responsible for monitoring and assessing the patient's condition and providing appropriate interventions. The LPN works collaboratively with other healthcare team members to ensure the highest quality of care.Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and High School, GED, or formal educational equivalent.
    • One year (1) of LPN experience
    • Current and valid Arkansas Practical Nurse License.
    • Current BLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Performs general nursing functions, such as rooming patients, administering medications, collecting vital signs, assisting physicians with procedures, and phlebotomy.
    • Schedule appointments, return calls to patients, assist with medication refills, and provide patient education.
    • May also perform various health screenings and prior authorizations for medications, imaging, and procedures.
    • Other Duties as assigned.
