The Cabin Restaurant is a highly rated, very busy, longtime favorite in Middleboro & has an upcoming opening for a dining room manager. This is a challenging position that requires a combination of experience, outgoing energy & a true desire to offer excellent, attentive service well above much of the area competition that is one of it’s primary keys to success.
The position entails having complete control of the front of the house ensuring it’s smooth & efficient operation for both in house dining & the substantial take out business The Cabin enjoys. The Dining Room Manager oversees the servers, bartenders, bussers & take out persons as well as coordinates with the kitchen staff to help maximize both the quantity of business & quality of service our guests have come to expect. Greeting, seating & describing the daily specials to our guests are all responsibilities tasked to the dining room manager which help to create a real personal connection with them.
The Dining Room Manager at The Cabin is a demanding but very rewarding position that requires a minimum of 3 years restaurant management experience along with high energy, maturity, reliability & a true desire to help improve an already highly successful business.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Positouch point of sales systems are also required for some back office duties. Overall, this is a fulltime, salaried position with some benefits & approximately 40 hours / week with two full days off.
