Job Summary
Under supervision of restaurant management, the DRA works to prepare the dining room and back of the house areas for service. All areas are kept clean and immaculate. The dining room assistant will welcome guests and attend to their every need while assisting the server with various needs. Product knowledge is essential and must know all aspects of the menu and beverage offerings. Assist in monitoring the guests' needs and in all phases of the operation. The DRA is responsible for resetting tables, clearing tables, running food, changing the room over, and proper maintenance of tables and storage areas both in the front and back of the house.
Responsibilities
Maintain complete knowledge of scheduled daily activities and in-house groups, daily house count, hours of operation of each outlet. Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, specials, liquor brands beers and non-alcoholic selections available in the restaurant. Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, proper table set-ups, room capacity, hours of operation, price range and dress code of the restaurant. Must be positive, a team player, and passionate about serving guests. Will be responsible for daily prep work, table maintenance, assisting with guest needs, assisting with teammates needs, and creating an environment of teamwork and learning to be better. All other duties as assigned.
Must have day time availability for at least two of the following shifts:
Tuesday-Sunday 10AM to 3PM
