About this position
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Communication Center and its employees. Reports and investigates issues of concerns, troubleshoots equipment issues and maintains all necessary staffing and tools needed by communications team.
Requirements
Education
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience
Three years of experience as an EMD or Five-years of experience as a PSAP dispatcher, REQUIRED
Supervisory experience in Communication Center, PSAP or EMS preferred
Knowledge of Hexagon, I-Dispatcher preferred
EMD & EMD-Q through IAED preferred
Licensure/Certification
EMD through IAED or obtained within 6 months of hire
EMD-Q through IAED or obtained within 6 months of hire
CPR Certification
