Employee Communications Manager manages the daily operations of the internal communication programs within an organization. Implements and participates in the design of communication programs to support and reinforce organizational objectives and comply with regulations.   • We are seeking a strategic problem solver to lead a first-of-its-kind campaign empowering consumers to face cancer with courage. This role also involves partnering with the broader Corporate and Internal Communications team on other signature and reputation-enhancing programs and partnerships for the US Oncology organization.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Develop and deliver effective communications programs that elevate AZ Oncology’s reputation as a leader in the US.
    • Serve as the day-to-day lead of large-scale consumer campaign with an inter-agency team (IAT), which includes in-person events/activations, celebrity/influencer engagement, social content, earned media, paid media, and more
    • Collaborate with other internal company Communication Leads to ensure integration and alignment with strategic direction, corporate narrative, and internal and external corporate affairs campaign and editorial planning processes.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication, marketing or related field
    • 5-7 years communications experience
    • Established track record of delivering impactful, content rich communications programs across multiple channels with proven measures of success
    • Experience with leading large-scale consumer campaigns with experiential, earned media and paid media activations
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
    • Team worker with high level of personal accountability and ability to work independently
    • Able to develop and maintain networks across business and cultural boundaries
    • Experience of working in and efficiently navigating large scale multi-national companies
    • Experience partnering with communications agencies, as well as external partners
    • Ability to coach and influence senior leaders on their communication effectiveness
    • Ability to set priorities, resources, goals, and project initiatives
    • First-rate coordination, teamwork, organization and multi-tasking skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Advanced degree
    • Experience in Biopharmaceutical industry or other regulated industry
    • Communications/marketing agency experience
