Oversees the design and implementation of communication programs to support and reinforce organizational objectives and comply with regulations. Additionally, Employee Communications Director manages the collaboration with public relations or corporate communications teams to produce clear and consistent communications. Assists in evaluating and selecting vendors to provide support services. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Employee Communications Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Responsibilities:
- Crafting and achieving departmental strategies, goals, and objectives.
- Managing the Annual Operating Budget to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Collaborating with the Benefits department to support employees on leave.
- Overseeing compliance with Annual Assessments and flu vaccines.
- Identifying and addressing employee health issues in collaboration with the Safety department.
- Improving departmental efficiency and turnaround time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, master’s degree (MSN) preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years nursing experience in an Employee Health setting.
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure.
