The Assistant Director of Enrollment Communications develops, coordinates, and maintains enrollment communications strategies and forms cross-modal plans to reach as many prospective students as possible. This involves engagement and collaboration with the various stakeholders involved with prospective and newly admitted students and working with a broad cross-section of the campus community to ensure the effectiveness of communications. The Assistant Director of Enrollment Communications reports to the Director of Recruitment and Admissions. Specific Job Duties (Essential Functions and Responsibilities) 20% - Plan, develop, and oversee communications plans related to the engagement and enrollment of prospective students. This includes correspondence and related communication in the form of direct mail, e-mail, text messaging, or other appropriate platforms. 20% - Oversight of the Customer Relationship Management platform. This includes the implementation of the communication plans, the development of communication campaigns, the implementation of data integrations, the preparation of reports, data loads, and data pulls. 15% - Development, implementation, and maintenance of telerecruitment/telecommunication campaigns that support enrollment-related functions. Select, train, and supervise student workers, interns, and staff that execute those campaigns. 10% - Coordinate preparation and distribution of mail pieces that support enrollment-related functions. 10% - Oversight of the Text Messaging/ ChatBot platforms and social media. 10% - Coordinate the development, review, and implementation of all recruitment publications across the university. This includes cooperation and collaboration with the Office of Public Relations and Marketing on advertisements, brochures, and other marketing/promotional items. 10% - Support and participation in enrollment-related events and activities. 5% - Other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions or their designee. Qualifications: ● Master’s degree. ● Three to Five (3 - 5) years of related experience in an Admissions, Marketing, or Graphic Design setting. ● Additional portfolio experience or published material may be considered as a substitution. ● Broad knowledge of technology for educational purposes in admissions, recruitment, and enrollment functions and/or programs. ● Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. ● Ability to work well with students, parents, faculty, alumni, school counselors, and community-based organization staff in a professional manner and in a variety of formats. ● Demonstrate a high level of initiative and motivation, and strong technological skills. ● Ability to work non-traditional hours and on weekends to support enrollment events. ● Strong organizational skills are essential. Preferred Qualifications: ● Additional education beyond the Master’s level. ● Five to Ten (5-10) years of experience directly related to managing advanced technological communication platforms for student recruitment, academic advising, or enrollment services. Experience should include working directly with students in the college planning process and social media. ● Experience with CRM solutions. ● Experience with cloud-based technology solutions. ● Bilingual, English/Spanish.
