    About this role:

    We are looking for a Manager of Employee & Executive Communications who will oversee communications within the Marketing organization, an integral part of our Strategy & Corporate Affairs function, while also supporting communications to the broader team. The successful candidate will help create and drive communications and engagement programs that will enable the Marketing organization to grow, scale, transform, and achieve our bold business goals — all in service of helping ServiceNow become the defining enterprise software company of the 21st century.

    You will bring your passion for storytelling and mastery of distilling complex information into easily digestible content to the role. You will seamlessly manage competing priorities, be a quick and creative thinker, excel at building relationships, be process-oriented, and bring rigorous attention to detail to everything you do.

    You’ll work collaboratively with business partners, executives, and stakeholders to create inspiring, effective, and engaging communications that drive awareness and understanding of our strategic business priorities and transformation programs, shape culture, and build communities through compelling content and engaging stories. You will team with senior leaders, program/project managers, key business stakeholders, and communicators on high-visibility projects and programs to provide strategic counsel and guidance on ideal messaging, channels, and creative content approaches to drive engagement and employee action.

    • Develop and execute Marketing-focused communications and engagement programs that support our strategic business priorities.
    • Create and execute Strategy and Corporate Affairs-focused communications that tie to and support company priorities.
    • Produce emotional, relevant, and memorable internal and external omni-channel content, stories, and experiences rooted in our company and Marketing purpose and priorities, including high visibility programs such as our brand campaign, marquee pipeline driving events, and sports sponsorships, and continually experiment with content to drive engagement and business impact.
    • Work closely with business partners and communications colleagues to help design and execute Marketing all-hands, leadership meetings, and other experiential engagement experiences.
    • Collaborate with global communications colleagues to adopt and test listening or communications measurement tools; analyze insights and iterate plans accordingly.

    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, you should have: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, or related field.   
    • 8 years of experience in employee communications or executive communications.   
    • Creative, visual storytelling with an eye for detail.  
    • Amazing project management and communication skills.  
    • Extraordinary writing and editing skills.  
    • Experience creating employee engagement activations, experiences, and events.  
    • Love for storytelling and creating socially driven content that drives participatory change.  
    • Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to independently prioritize shifting workloads in a high-growth, ever-changing environment.
