Director of Communications
The Director of Communications is responsible for the development and execution of the organization's overall communication strategies, working closely with the senior management group and Orchard Place's external marketing firm on communication and in the implementation of strategic efforts.

The Director of Communications:
- Develops and maintains Orchard Place's communication plan. Evaluates the quality and impact of this plan using identified metrics and measures.
- Collaborates with the senior management group and others to develop, implement and measure the success of a long-term communications and marketing plan that broadens Orchard Place programmatic reach and deepens our impact across the community.
- Ensures communication of Orchard Place's mission, values and strategic direction in all print and digital media assets.
- Leads efforts to create mental health awareness in the community and state legislature.
- Maintains responsibility for annual report card publication, external newsletters, Orchard Place website, program brochures and all social media efforts.
- Collaborates with the Development Department on communications materials and marketing efforts for special event fundraisers, volunteer recruitment and retention and other development initiatives.
- Supervises the Associate Director of Communications
Positions Requires:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or journalism.
- 5-7 years of experience in related field.
- Excellent writing, verbal and computer skills and strategic marketing/media relations knowledge.
- Experience in graphic design programs, basic photography skills, web content management and social media strategies.
- Highly collaborative style and excellent organizational and project management skills.

- $75,000 base salary
